Dr. Luis Camacho
Dr. Luis Daniel Camacho was born and raised in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. He attended the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez to get his Bachelors degree in Science (B.S) in 1988. He won a scholarship to go to the New York University College of Dentistry. where he graduated in 1992 with a DDS degree. He also did extra trainings in Cosmetic Dentistry and a one year Fellowship in TMJ disorders.
After dental graduation he decided to go back to his hometown in order to settle down and start a family. He worked for one year at a local hospital and then started his own private dental office where he worked successfully for 27 years. After the big hurricane Maria that struck Puerto Rico, in 2019 he decided to move to NC and settle down here. Since then he has been working at local dental practices as an Associate General Dentist. His areas of expertise includes; General and Cosmetic Dentistry, Invisalign, Crown and Bridges, Implant Crowns, TMJ and Sleep Apnea. Despite the fact that he is been a dentist for 30 years, he is always keeping up to date in all the new technologies and techniques and he is considered a Key Opinion leader and teacher in his field. He is been awarded Platinum Invisalign Provider, one of the top awards in the state.
He is been married to his wife Marisel for 34 years and have a daughter and son. They all like sports, the outdoors and enjoys quality time with his family.
